Some guide pals of ours in the Flordia Keys fish this fly when they catch fish. They fish it when they don't catch fish too. They simply keep fishing this fly haha! Their confidence in the Strong Arm is extremely high and it is truly their "go to".  They put us onto this fly and it's become one of our go-to flies for our hosted Permit trips.

It's An excellent fly for all game fish hunting the flats. The Strong Arm Merkin is an ideal fly when fishing permit and bonefish.
