STREAMER FLIES

Streamer FliesThese flies are designed for fishing on a tight line that is either being retrieved by stripping or pulling in your line, or by swinging the fly on tension in a river's current. Most of these flies imitate baitfish, and are often used to target large predatory fish that are feeding on smaller baitfish. While most of these are tied with trophy trout fishing in mind, many of these flies will also work for Bass, Steelhead, Striped Bass, Salmon, and other fish that prey upon small minnows. Sculpin are the most common forage fish in North American trout rivers.
