SAN JUAN WORMS

The San Juan Worm is a great fly type for both general winter searching and off color water. Fish this fly under an indicator, along the bottom, letting it bounce as it drifts along. Tapping the bottom is risky, but key to success. It can be fished alone, in tandem with a large stonefly, or in a double San Juan Worm rig.
