A fly line for Bonefish must offer a delicate tip so that you can deliver a fly softly into the strike zone of a Bonefish. It cannot slap the water hard, and stealth is favored over ease of casting and shooting line. Bonefish lines are capable of casting some crab patterns and small minnow patterns, but are best with shrimp flies #4 and smaller. For more versatility but less stealth, consider a "Grand Slam" type line.
