The Scott GT Series Fly Rods mark the next evolution of the legendary G Series, a line renowned for its smooth progressive actions, exceptional feel, and unmatched tippet protection for nearly 50 years. Lighter and sportier than their predecessors, the GT rods incorporate Scott’s latest X-Core design with the thinnest-walled blanks ever produced, multi-modulus layups, and ARC2 fibers for faster recovery, enhanced stability, and accuracy. Redesigned hollow internal ferrules are 20% lighter, flex seamlessly with the blank, and create a near one-piece feel. The lineup introduces new length and weight configurations to highlight the best characteristics of the G Series while maintaining the artistry and craftsmanship Scott is known for. Each rod features milled aluminum reel seats with Type 3 hard coat, cocobolo wood inserts, Flor-grade cork grips, titanium-framed Zirconia guides, and Snake Brand Universal snakes—complete with alignment dots and measuring wraps. Every GT rod is hand-built, inscribed, and individually numbered in Montrose, Colorado.
