A general purpose nymph like this is such a valuable fly to have in your box.  The versatility it gives you is met with reward.  Heavy tungsten bead to sink it fast and keep it in the zone.  Curved shank hook for a naturally buggy profile.  The flashy wing case, webby legs and biot tails represent elements of the most abundunt aquatic insects.  Caddis larae/pupae, mayfly nymphs such as green drakes, and even stonefy nymphs.  It's no wonder why this thing gets bit.
