THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW!
Show up anytime after 1:00 PM, grab your waders, and head down below the shop and lodge where we'll be casting all afternoon. This is a laid-back, come-and-go event. No schedules, no pressure, and definitely no casting instructors with whistles. We'll have a handful of trout spey fanatics and seasoned pros ready to help with everything from your first sustained-anchor cast to fine-tuning a setup you've been fishing for years. We'll have demo rods available, but if you'd like a tune-up on your own gear, bring your favorite stick and we'll help dial it in. The shop will also be serving up some seriously good in-person deals on Redington Claymore and Dually Trout Spey rods, and we can set you up with the whole works: reels, lines, sink tips, leaders, accessories, and all the other necessary fishing doodads and gadgetry.
At 5:30 PM, the casting portion of the event wraps up as folks with F3T tickets make their way to the evening film showing. Before then, stick around for fly-tying demonstrations in the lodge, enjoy a bite from the food truck, and catch up with fellow anglers. If you're planning to enjoy a proper sit-down meal at the legendary Canyon River Grill, be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Feel free to bring something to sip on during the afternoon if you'd like, and beverages will be available for purchase later in the evening. Come for the casting, stay for the camaraderie, and leave with a few new tricks for your next day on the water.
F3T FILM TOUR | WASHINGTON WATER TRUST
The Washington Water Trust is one of the good guys in the fight for healthy rivers. Their mission is simple but incredibly important: keep water in streams where fish, wildlife, and local communities need it most. Through water-right acquisitions, conservation partnerships, and streamflow restoration projects, they work to protect the cold, clean, flowing water that wild trout, steelhead, and salmon depend on. In other words, if you've ever stood knee-deep in a favorite riffle and wondered what keeps that river alive through hot summers and low-water years, organizations like Washington Water Trust are a big part of the answer. Supporting their work is an investment in the future of the fisheries we all love.
That's why this year's F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour is more than just a great night of fishing stories and big-screen adventure. It's a fundraiser dedicated to protecting and restoring the waters that make those fishing dreams possible. So grab a ticket, get fired up for another season on the water, bid on a few auction items, and know that every dollar helps support the conservation of ample, clean, and cold trout water right here in Washington. You'll leave inspired, entertained, and maybe even headed home with some fantastic gear, all while helping ensure that the next generation of anglers has healthy rivers to explore and fish for years to come.
