We launch our Powerhour Clinics one at a time and hope that you can make it to each and every event. This allows us to respond to current interests among our students, and let the season be the reason.

- October 7th - 11 am // Learn to Double Haul with Joe Rotter
Joe is quite good and bringing out a strong cast from his students. Come along for the 60 minute ride and add both power and distance to your cast.
HIGHLY FOCUSED INSTRUCTION
- $29 per person
- $19 Youth (ages 10-17)
Powerhour Clinics are short, highly focused, and offered at a price tag anyone can afford. They are primarily lecture and demonstration based. Sometimes we will offer hands on casting time, but the goal is to show you the way. For 1:1 casting instruction and lessons book a private casting lesson.
The goal is to offer affordable lesssons that are relevant to the season with information useful for DIY fishing at that specific time of year or even that particualar day.
ABOUT GROUP LESSONS
It doesn't take our instructors hours on end to teach even advanced concepts. Give us 60 minutes and an opportunity to explain in group format, and we promise you'll gain an advanced understanding of even some of the most technical strategies.
Most group lessons take place riverside and will primarily feature instructors teaching, demonstrating proper technique, and answering questions. Seeing a cast, drift, or mend done right is the most effective way for students to become successful quickly.
Leave the course with this information and practice it on the water or independently. Our goal is to create strong and successful DIY anglers. Group lessons max at (12) students and you'll get plenty of time to ask questions and drive discussion.
DIVIDE AND CONQUER
Powerhour group lessons are designed with the DIY angler in mind. After the lesson, which is most often in the morning, our hope is that the group disbands to "divide and conquer" using their new skills and ideas while fishing independently.
Most group lessons also offer a specialized "Fishalong" course that day, so check the course schedule for opportunities for enhanced coaching.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Once a reservation is made we are fully committed to you and have lost the opporuntity to offer the space to other anglers. Cancellations for Fishalong Adventures less than 14 days from the outing will forfeit the course fee or the University Credit used to register. Cancellations more than 14 days from the outing will forfeit 5% of the course fee, University enrolled students can re-book into a later date. Red's Fly Shop has the sole authority to cancel adventures based on conditions.
Cancellations for Casting Classes less than 48 hours from the class will forfeit the course fee or the University Credit used to register. Cancellations more than 48 hours from the Casting Class will forfeit 5% of the course fee, University enrolled students can re-book into a later date.
