This is considered a "wet feet" course, meaning students will be in the water, actively applying these skills while wading and fishing. Take your fly fishing skills to the next level with Fly Fishing 301! This course is designed for anglers who have mastered the basics and are ready to refine their techniques for better control, precision, and success on the water. The class begins with a one-hour session at Red’s Fly Shop, where you'll dive into advanced techniques and rigging strategies. Then, you'll hit the Yakima River for 2.5 hours of guided wade fishing, applying what you've learned under expert coaching.

Once a reservation is made we are fully committed to you and have lost the opporuntity to offer the space to other anglers. Cancellations for Fishalong Adventures less than 14 days from the outing will forfeit the course fee or the University Credit used to register. Cancellations more than 14 days from the outing will forfeit 5% of the course fee, University enrolled students can re-book into a later date. Red's Fly Shop has the sole authority to cancel adventures based on conditions.
