My Trout Fishing Bag and Fly Box Setup

Trout Fishing Bag Setup and Fly Box Organization

A well organized trout bag allows you to be spontaneous, mobile, and make great choices as it comes to fly selection. It will allow you to make great use of your time and always have access to the right flies.

Plus flies are a big investment, protect them with good boxes that are well organized. I am going to run the system below for all of my wade fishing this year for trout.

Optional Divider (this thing rocks!)

Tacky OG Fly Boxes

Tacky Original Fly Boxes - I use (3) of these in my wade fishing pack. I have one for my beadhead nymphs, stonefly nymphs, and my mico streamers/leeches.

Tacky River Mag

I use (1) of these for all my itty bitty nymphs. The magnet is crazy good! You'll love it. No more dropping small flies on the gravel bar.

Tacky Pescador Fly Boxes

Tacky Pescador Fly Boxes - I use (2) of these, in different colors. I have one for my terrestrials/dry flies and one for my larger streamers.
