How we rate used fly reels: (All reels include a case/box unless otherwise noted)

5 – Like New. This reel will be nearly identical to a new reel.

4 – Lightly Used. This is a reel that has a handful of days under its belt. It may have some minor imperfections such as a small number of short, light blemishes.

3 – Excellent. This is a great looking reel. This reel has seen it's fair share of days over the course of a season. The reel will likely have light blemishes from use in the field. There may be wear and tear on the reel seat and drag knob. 

2 – Very Good. A well loved reel that has seen a few seasons on the water. The reel may have minor cosmetic blemishes and very few major blemishes. These reels are still fishable and have tons of life left.

1 – Good. A well-used reel. These reels have seen many seasons on the water. The reel will likely have many scratches and some could be quite deep or long. These are reels that are in good working order and aren't the prettiest, but get the job done.

Used Reel Return Policy

Red's wants you to purchase from our used reel inventory with confidence. Understand that these are USED reels that have been inspected and graded to the best of our ability. Please read below for specifics regarding returning a used reel. Please contact Red's Fly Shop prior to returning any used reel.

- Please fully visually inspect your reel upon arrival. If, for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with the reel received you can return the reel to Red's, at your expense, within 7 days of delivery. Reels returned in a condition other than what was received are not elidable for return. Please do not fish the reel if you plan to return it. Used reels returned broken due to use will not be accepted under any circumstances.
