Leader Kit for Ascension Bay and Cuba Trips

Ascension Bay is perhaps the most diverse destination we host and fish. Because of the variety, you'll need many different types of leaders and tippet! Baby Tarpon and Snook are best fished with a 40# Shock tippet, larger Tarpon need 60# Shock, Permit are targeted with a long Fluorocarbon 12-16# tapered leader, Bonefish are spookier and we use 10-12# leaders. Don't forget about the toothy critters like Barracuda and Lemon Sharks! Bring some pre-built wire leaders and a spool of wire bite material to patch things up.

This leader kit is for the "well-prepared" angler that will have enough materials to be completely independent of anyone else, and likely able to help other anglers that might be in a pinch for a leader or some tippet. Build your own kit based on what you personally need.
