Crispi Lapponia III VS Crispi Lapponia PRO

Crispi Lapponia III VS Crispi Lapponia PRO

When it comes to covering miles in upland country or chasing elk in broken terrain, both the Crispi Lapponia III and the Crispi Lapponia PRO live in that “move quick, hunt hard” category. But they’re built with slightly different priorities.

Here’s the quick breakdown:

Outsole: Megagrip vs. Full Control

  • Lapponia III // Vibram Megagrip outsole.
A reliable, all-around traction option for mixed terrain—dirt, rock, and everyday hunting miles.

  • Lapponia PRO // Vibram Full Control outsole.
Built for steeper ground and wet conditions, with a more aggressive, confidence-inspiring feel when side-hilling.

If you regularly hunt angled, slick terrain, the PRO gets the nod.

Flex: 2 vs. 2.5

  • Lapponia III 2 Flex
Slightly more forgiving. Comfortable for long miles and rolling terrain.

  • Lapponia PRO – 2.5 Flex
A touch stiffer for added lateral support when carrying weight or living on side-hills.

If you prioritize comfort and mobility Lapponia III should be your choice.
If you want more structure and support the PRO is for you.

Height & Ankle Support

  • Lapponia III: 8" height

  • Lapponia PRO: 9" height + A.B.S.S. (Ankle Bone Support System)

The PRO’s added inch of height, combined with CRISPI’s Ankle Bone Support System, gives a more locked-in feel and added stability on uneven ground. If you’ve ever rolled an ankle in rimrock or cheatgrass hills, this matters.

Rubber Rand Protection

  • Lapponia III: Polyurethane-coated leather rand

  • Lapponia PRO: Full rubber rand

If you’re tough on boots rock, shale, sharp country the PRO’s full rubber rand adds durability where it counts.

So…Which One Should You Choose?

Choose the Lapponia III if:
You’re logging big miles on mixed terrain and want lightweight comfort with dependable traction.

Choose the Lapponia PRO if:
You hunt steeper country, carry weight, and want extra ankle support and durability.

Both boots are excellent. The difference comes down to how aggressive your terrain is and how much support you want underfoot.

If you’ve got questions about which one fits your hunt best, swing by the shop or reach out. We’ve put real miles on both.
