Enrollment at Red's University of Fly Fishing

Continuing Education

Up front enrollment puts students on a suggested, but not required, curriculum of courses that allow you to build your own educational program. It starts with our Core Courses, Fly Fishing 101, 201, and 301 along with lessons focused on casting. Degrees will finish with elective "Fishalong Courses" of the student's choice. The idea here is that students will find specific interests over time and pursue these.

After you are enrolled, you will be assigned a University Advisor to usher you through the program and help you make choices that best suit your long term angling goals. Students will be given an access code that allows them to enroll in any R.U.F.F. course online, hassle free.

"I'll admit I was intimidated by fly fishing. That all ended the moment I was introduced to my first instructor at Red's. The experience was friendly, educational, and I was made to feel included."

Red's University Instructors

Red's University Instructors

We are unapologetic about proclaiming the prowess and professionalism of our fly shop instructors, staff, and guides. Between our University instructors, shop staff, and subcontractor guides we have approximately 30 team members. Their blend of ambition, competitiveness, kindness, fishing skill, work ethic, and patience are like no crew we've ever seen. Our staff is the ultimate team. This means teaching each other, sharing secret fly patterns, insider fishing reports, and helping our other guides on the river get into more fish.

Red's has been at this for a long time and putting together a franchise like this was no accident. We look for talent, character, unique skills, and a strong sense of "customer first" attitude. We're here to serve the customer. That's our mission.
