Trout Spey Lessons All Day

There will be on-going lessons on two-handed casting ALL DAY! Most will be out on the river, lecture format, with a featured instructor teaching a skill, lesson, or specific technique. In addtion, there will be lots of rod, reel, and line setups from various manufacturers available to cast. Bring your waders and boots!

IF4 Film Showing after

Post event we'll open up the main lodge for a happy hour and mingling time, followed by a showing of the 2024 IF4 Film Tour!

100% of the ticket sales go to our local Trout Unlimited Chapter including $1 per beer sold at the evening festivities.

A wise move might be to make a dinner reservation at Canyon River Grill NOW, before everything is booked up and sold out! Additionally, we will have a taco truck on site to catch the overflow our restaurant can't handle.

WOMEN'S INTRO TO FLY FISHING

In conjunction with our Trout Spey Rendezvous, women are invited to join instructors Shannon Mahre and Shelly Edwards for a wonderful intro to fly fishing course, solely for women taught by women! In years past we've had lots of ladies come to our events that are on-the-fence about taking the plunge into fly fishing. We'll make it easy.

This course is fun, relatively short, and you don't need any gear. Just show up and we'll take care of the rest!

March 9th, 12 pm - 3 pm:

No gear required, this is land based experience.
Basic fly casting, knots, choosing a fly, and all sorts of important stuff!
