I've had this rod over a year and I love it and use it a lot. It fishes well with a mono leader and a Belgian cast, or with a floating line and traditional leader. I really like using a 3.0 or 3.5 Tenkara level line as the mono leader, but can use 6lb mono as well. It's soft enough that I never use more than 5X tippet and have landed sizable fish (16" or so) on 6X. I've paired it with the Redington Tilt, and its drag also helps. It balances well with one counterweight. I haven't found sensitivity (or lack) to be a problem. Its extra length helps to hold the line up to avoid drag when fishing across currents. My one minor complaint is that it has no alignment dots, but that's easily remedied with an acrylic marker.
