"It's Like 10 Years Worth of Trout Fishing in One Week. So Many Different Adventures, So Many Fish."

Cinco Rios and Estancia Del Zorro

Our most popular trip is to split your week into 3 days fishing out of the Cinco Rios Lodge in Coyhaique, and then spend another 3 days in the high pampas near the Argentina border at Estancia Del Zorro. This offers the angler a unique variety of rivers, lakes, spring creeks, and small freestone rivers to choose from. The diversity is unparalleled!

The Cinco Rios Lodge

Cinco Rios Lodge can accommodate 12 guests at a time, with each room providing two king beds in separate quarters, a sitting area with comfortable chairs, a private bathroom, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the Simpson Valley. A large fireplace adds ambience to our main living room, fully furnished with comfortable armchairs and sofas. Gazing through the large windows of the dining room, you are directed to the green meadows of the valley where you can see a fleeting rainbow on the rainy days or a warm sunset at the end of the day. It is definitely the perfect backdrop for each of our delicious meals. Our bar has the charm needed to liven up a good conversation with various cocktails available. We have laundry service, Wi-Fi connection, a fly shop, and a room for fly tying.

Cinco Rios Lodge is the perfect spot to relax and disconnect from your daily routine and live an unforgettable experience.

Estancia Del Zorro

Estancia Del Zorro is real Chile. Located in the pampas high above the Coyhaique River valley, it offers anglers incredible wade fishing on a variety of smaller streams and boat access to several exclusive lakes. The Del Zorro spring creek runs directly through the center of the ranch property and offers anglers shots at brown trout in the 24" range every day! Small water and big trout can be a technical combination, so be prepared for a worthy challenge. Nearby there are several other small rivers that offer excellent dry fly opportunity and even some horseback riding to access.

The lodge is rustic, comfortable, and you'll be treated to some of the finest Chilean cusine you can ever experience. The beds are king sized, comfortable, and you will fish hard and rest easy.

Dream, Plan, Fish

This is a big trip and anglers should prepare in advance if possible. Accurate casts with dry flies in the wind are typical. Work on building tight loops and a strong with your 5-6 weight rods.

The Red's Hosted Experience

A Red's team member will travel with you and help make your experience the most efficient, rewarding, and best adventure we can. We're there to aid the lodge in coordinating ground transfers, assigning guides, meeting angler expectations, and helping problem solve should any challenges arise. Your host will mentor as necessary, work with the lodge's head guide to coordinate guide pairings, and make group wide decisions that best serve all Red's customers.

The lodge is located in Punta Allen a few hundred feet off the water, within a 1-2 minute walk of the guide boats. Rooms host 2 people per suite, and each suite has its own bathroom and shower. You may request a single room for an additional charge. Dining is in the lodge's own restaurant on the first floor.

There is most often internet access, and we have an emergency contact number that you could be reached at if need be. Cell phones do not work down there. Just as well. If you absolutely need to stay in reach, bring a satellite messenger or phone.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the reservation. Final payments are due 90 days prior to the departure date. For all trips scheduled less than 90 days out, full payment is required upon reservation. Cancellations will forfeit all payments unless the adventure is booked to full capacity. At this time customers will receive a refund minus a $100 administrative fee. Anglers may reschedule an upcoming adventure more than 90 days prior to departure, but will be assessed a $100 administrative fee for the itinerary change.

Red's Fly Shop and the destination outfitter are not responsible for loss of fishing days due to missed flights, sickness, injury, weather delays, or any other reason. Red's Fly Shop also reserves the right to make alterations to the itinerary as deemed necessary or desirable, even if additional costs are passed onto members of the party. Additionally, any expenditures caused by delays, or occurrences beyond the control of Red's Fly Shop are the responsibility of the guest.
