Cuban Fly Fishing Adventures

We provide a stress free pathway to what most consider the world's best flats fishing. Red's will secure the entire week for the Liveaboard and arrange proper documentation, plan the itineraries and suggest flights. You just practice your casting and pack your bags. Your trip will also be hosted by a Red's employee or industry partner, which gives us first hand knowledge and experience. Since one of us is traveling with the group, we'll be there to ensure the trip goes smoothly.

Flights to Cuba are available directly from the US. Because of the stringent regulations on fishing pressure and tourism based travel, Cuba is an angling mecca for pursuing Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon. We've hosted many trips to Cuba and can make this adventure a dream come true. It's educational and an enriching experience.

Life on the Liveaboard Yachts

Life on the Liveaboard Yachts

These luxury yachts are constructed and designed for outdoor purposes, exceptional and exclusive 100+ foot vessels with comfortable cabins, private bathroom used for weekly trips in the various fishing regions of Cuba.

Cuisine on the yachts are gourmet but simple. Fresh fish of the day is utilized for most meals, salads with fresh vegetables and a variety of fruits are always available and a good alternative to a daily diet. In addition, you'll have excellent pork and chicken entrees during the week, fresh sashimi and italian style pizzas for appetizers and some of the finest frozen Daiquiris, Cuba Libre and Mojitos to make your afternoons and nights an enjoyable culinary experience.

Regarding fishing, the yacht will be located in our exclusive fishing area, where after an intensive research we have assigned different fishing areas, planning to introduce a rotation system, similar to the one used in other Cuban destinations. This allows the guide team to reduce fishing pressure on each area, having non spooky fish, and increasing chances of success. Guides are well trained and hard working.

The Red's Hosted Experience

The Red's Hosted Experience

Travel is more organized, safer, more enriching, and flat out more fun with a coordinated group. Because one of our team members is going, you can be assured we are intimately familiar with the itinerary and up to speed on changing plans or conditions. A Red's team member will be on the trip to help make it the most efficient, rewarding, and best adventure we can. We have a vested interest in the group's success. Your host will be there to aid the outfitter in coordinating ground transfers, assigning guides, meeting angler expectations, and helping problem solve should any challenges arise. Your host will mentor as necessary, work with the head guide to coordinate guide pairings, and make group wide decisions that best serve all Red's customers. We are there to both serve the customer and do some fishing.

The travel paperwork for Cuba is a bit more complicated than a trip to our other neighboring countries. Your host and team at Red's will assist in all these processes. We employ the use of a travel professional to file for all required documentation and insure that your travel is legal and well organized.
