Crystal Popper  - An Essential Reef/Deep Water Fly

 A hard bodied popper tied with pearl braid on a long shank hook, the Crystal popper is the archetype of all such surface flies. The fly is a must for fishing low light conditions in which attracting attention is the only way to make notice of your fly. Simulating wounded baitfish, feeding or fleeing prey, the popper initiates the sedate predator into a hunting and feeding.

The #4 is quite small and works well for fish under 5-10 pounds. It is deadly on small schooling Jacks, Sea Run Cutts, resident Salmon, small Snapper, and other aggressive saltwater species.
