The Columbia River Basin surrounding the Potholes Reservoir and Moses Lake are home to a huge variety of species including trophy Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, LaHontan Cutthroat, Common Carp, Smallmouth Bass, and about a dozen other less appreciated species. The watersheds here are vast and supplied with water from the Columbia River Reclaimation projects. The unique blend of sunshine, desert landscape, and ample water is capable of producing some incredible fisheries. Most fisheries are free flowing coulees and we offer a mix of both float and wade fishing adventures.

Our trips are often single angler focused and best suited for anglers that have become fairly proffiicent casters. It's not incredibly challenging fishing per say, just not perfectly suited to the beginner.

Our #1 guide for Basin Waters trips is Chad Ashby. He's fly fished all over the world and is a hard core angler. You'll find him during the summers guiding the Stehekin River, but during the spring, fall, and winter he runs trips for Red's in the Basin Waters. Chad lives in Moses Lake and you'll immediately appreciate his passion and enthusiasm.
